Once，there was an old man in a small village．He had a big box in his room．But he didn't make anyone touch it．There was a man and his wife who worked for the old man．One day，the old man pointed to the big box and said to the couple，"There's only one thing you mustn't do．Don't open this box．"After saying this，he left his room．

The man's wife was always interested in this box．So she said to her husband，"There must be something expensive in the box．Let's open it，shall we？"Her husband didn't want to open the box，but the woman didn't give up．One day，the woman decided to find out what was in the box．Her husband couldn't stop her．To her surprise，there was nothing inside．She tried hard to close the box，but she failed．

That evening，the old man came home and found that the box was open．He was so annoyed that he asked the woman and her husband to 1eave his home at once．"But there was nothing in the box，"the woman said．"We haven't taken anything at all．"The old man shouted，"The box is not important．Now I know that I can't trust you．That's what's important!"The couple regretted for doing that，but they had to leave there．

A Clever Boy

A young boy is playing with a ball in the street .

He kicks it too hard and it breaks the window of a house and falls inside .

A lady comes to the window with the ball and shouts at the young boy .

So the young boy runs away ,but he still wants his ball back .

A few minutes later he returns and knocks at the door of the house .

When the lady answers it , he says . " My father's going to come and fix your window very soon . "

After a few more minutes , a man comes to the door with tools in his hand .

So the lady lets the boy take his ball away .

When the man finished fixing the window .

he says to the lady . "That will cost you ten dollars . "

"But aren't you the father of that young boy ?" the woman asks .

"Of course not ." He answers" Aren't you his mother ?"
